Duur therapie:
Bij complexe appendicitis (met source control) 2 dagen antibiotica iv en daarna stop.
Uitzonderingen zijn:
Bij deze groep 5 dagen behandelen.
Bij complexe appendicitis en geen adequate source control (geen drainage of OK): 14 dagen behandelen
Voor advies middelen iv orale switch bij intra abdominale infecties link door naar Switchprotocol.
